Guillaume is an attorney at Linklaters LLP (Brussels office), where he sits in the global dispute resolution and ESG practices. He is part of multidisciplinary Linklaters teams acting as global ESG counsel for a number of leading multinational corporates and financial institutions. He has extensive experience advising on all aspects of ESG (existing and incoming ESG regulation and soft law standards, ESG strategy and disclosures, ESG governance and risk management, stakeholder activism, litigation risk and crisis management).

Guillaume is a member of the ICC Working Group on Business and Human Rights and contributed the section “Business Integrity” to the 2nd edition of the United Nations Global Compact Guide for General Counsel on Corporate Sustainability. He also co-edited the first Belgian legal treaty on “sustainability and the law” (as the co-editor in chief of the legal journal Revue de Droit Commercial Belge).

He is the author of several contributions in the field of ESG, and he regularly comments on topical ESG questions in the media (Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Politico, ESG Investor, etc.).

Guillaume read law at the ULB and the University of Oxford (as a Wiener-Anspach Foundation scholar). He also completed the ESG Accelerator Programme of the University of Oxford (Saïd Business School).
